Jonathan Hall is the Medical Director at Atlas Behavioral Health. He is a Family Medicine/Addiction Medicine boarded physician. His medical practice recommends and prescribes the best-evidenced treatments for common human conditions. He primarily works with patients in treatment for substance use disorder. He strives to use shared decision-making with patients to help them create a treatment plan that works for their situation. Creating a treatment plan involves a lot of discussion to understand the patient's perspectives, goals, and values. It takes time. When patient preferences are established and agreed upon by physician and patient, treatment plans that most closely support patient preferences can be compared and contrasted. Once common risks and potential benefits of treatments can be discussed, patients can choose which treatment, if any, is right for them. Dr. Hall holds a BA in Chemistry from University of Minnesota at Morris, Masters degree in Human Genetics from Tulane University, and MD from Louisiana State University School of Medicine. He completed Family Medicine residency June 2017, and the Addiction Medicine boards October 2024. When he’s not working you can find him on singletrack trails, tennis court, archery ranges, or grilling with his wife and son.
