Jason Price is one of the founders and Chief Operating Officer of Atlas Behavioral Health. He is a Certified Addiction Recovery Empowerment Specialist (CARES) and Certified Peer Specialist in Addictive Diseases (CPS-AD).

Clinical Director

Julie River is the Clinical Director at Atlas Behavioral Health, where she provides leadership in clinical programming, staff development, and evidence-based service delivery. Medical Director

Jonathan Hall is the Medical Director at Atlas Behavioral Health. He is board-certified in Family Medicine and Addiction Medicine, with clinical expertise in evidence-based treatment for substance use disorders and co-occurring conditions.

Merissa Perrier, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Marissa Perrier is the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Atlas Behavioral Health. She provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment across the lifespan, utilizing evidence-based interventions and a patient-centered framework.

Primary Therapist

Asiah Brown is a Primary Therapist at Atlas Behavioral Health. She is currently pursuing her Associate License in Professional Counseling (LAPC) and has obtained certification as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology.

Primary Therapist

Gina Kim is a Primary Therapist at Atlas Behavioral Health. She is in the process of obtaining her Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) credential. Gina earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Public Policy from Georgia State University and went on to complete her Master of Social Work at Kennesaw State University.

Josh Camadeca serves as the Program Director at Atlas Behavioral Health, where he oversees organizational workflows, supports program development, and ensures high-quality service delivery across clinical and peer-support departments.

Carson Latimer is the Case Manager at Atlas Behavioral Health. He is a Certified Peer Specialist in Mental Health (CPS-MH) and a Recovery Coach Professional (RCP) certified through the Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery (CCAR).

Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Daniel Martinez is the Founder and CEO of Atlas Behavioral Health, where he leads a dedicated team of healthcare professionals committed to providing compassionate, client-centered care for individuals and families navigating substance use and mental health challenges. With a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Georgia State University and a strong background in healthcare leadership and business development, Daniel has built a career focused on expanding access to quality treatment and driving meaningful outcomes for clients. Prior to founding Atlas, Daniel served as Regional Director of Business Development, overseeing outreach efforts across the Rocky Mountain region and the East Coast. In this role, he worked closely with operations, clinical, and business teams to streamline admissions processes and support individuals in finding the care they needed. Throughout his career, Daniel has demonstrated a proven ability to lead teams, develop business strategies, and communicate effectively with national partners, clients, and their families. His passion for helping others is evident in his empathetic approach and commitment to ensuring every client has access to appropriate, personalized care. Daniel's unwavering dedication to his clients and team continues to inspire Atlas Behavioral Health’s mission of empowering individuals on their journey to healing and recovery.

Jason Price, CARES, CPS-AD (he/him)

Founder and Chief Operating Officer

Jason Price is one of the founders and Chief Operating Officer of Atlas Behavioral Health. He is a Certified Addiction Recovery Empowerment Specialist (CARES) and Certified Peer Specialist in Addictive Diseases (CPS-AD). His background includes acting as president and CEO of an environmental compliance firm for over seven years. Jason has extensive experience leading teams and driving business through strategic planning and client relationship management. His passion for creating positive impact extends way beyond the business and environmental world. He is the founder of We Believe Recovery Residence, providing safe housing for those struggling with substance use disorders on their journey to sobriety. Jason also serves in a volunteer capacity on the Board of Directors for two nonprofit organizations: The Georgia Association of Recovery Residences (GARR) and The Georgia Alliance of Recovery. He holds the position of Chief Financial Officer and is a member of the GARR Executive Committee. He is also the Chief Financial Officer of Georgia Alliance of Recovery. As the COO of Atlas Behavioral Health, he is leveraging his expertise in both business and healthcare to spearhead groundbreaking approaches to substance use treatment. Through innovative programs and comprehensive care, he is helping to change the landscape of behavioral health and empowering individuals to lead fulfilling lives free from addiction. With a proven track record of success both in the corporate and nonprofit sectors, he brings a unique perspective to every endeavor he undertakes. Jason is dedicated to fostering collaborative partnerships and creating meaningful change, and he is excited to continue making a difference through his work. When he isn't trying to save the world, you can find Jason on a lake somewhere in South Georgia with friends or wandering aimlessly deep in the wilderness.

Julie River, M.S., LPC, NCC, CPS-MH, RCP, EMDR Trained (she/her)

Clinical Director

Clinical Director Julie River is the Clinical Director at Atlas Behavioral Health, where she provides leadership in clinical programming, staff development, and evidence-based service delivery. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), Certified Peer Specialist in Mental Health (CPS-MH), Recovery Coach Professional (RCP), and an EMDR-trained psychotherapist. Julie earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Services from Kennesaw State University and her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. She specializes in the treatment of trauma, addictions, adoption-related issues, and identity development. Her clinical approach is postmodern, inclusive, and affirming, with a strong emphasis on the intersectionality of identity and culture. She integrates holistic and systems-based frameworks into her therapeutic modalities, supporting clients in developing deep self-understanding rooted in their formative experiences. With over a decade of experience across the continuum of care, Julie has worked in psychiatric hospitals, wilderness therapy programs, art therapy initiatives, outpatient treatment for addictions and eating disorders, trauma-focused therapy, private practice, and peer support. This diverse background informs her vision for Atlas: to provide evidence-based, client-centered, culturally competent, and identity-affirming care. She is equally committed to the wellbeing of the clinical team, recognizing that staff wellness directly impacts the quality of client care. Julie is passionate about psychology, neurobiology, and sociology, and actively pursues ongoing professional development in these fields. Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys training for marathons and ultramarathons, international travel, and exploring new cultures through hiking and meaningful connection with others.

Jonathan Hall is the Medical Director at Atlas Behavioral Health. Dr. Hall’s practice emphasizes patient-centered care and shared decision-making. He works collaboratively with patients to develop individualized treatment plans that align with their goals, values, and preferences. This process involves comprehensive discussion of treatment options, including their potential benefits and risks, to support informed choices and optimize outcomes. His approach integrates the latest clinical research with practical, compassionate care tailored to each patient’s unique circumstances. Dr. Hall earned his Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from the University of Minnesota at Morris, a Master of Science in Human Genetics from Tulane University, and his Doctor of Medicine from Louisiana State University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Family Medicine in June 2017 and obtained Addiction Medicine board certification in October 2024. Outside of clinical practice, Dr. Hall enjoys trail running, tennis, archery, and spending time outdoors with his wife and son.

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Marissa Perrier is the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Atlas Behavioral Health. She provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment across the lifespan, utilizing evidence-based interventions and a patient-centered framework. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts and her Master of Science in Nursing from West Coast University, with board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She brings over 12 years of direct patient care experience to her practice, with a focus on mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, bipolar disorder, substance use disorders, and other psychiatric illnesses. Her clinical approach integrates pharmacologic management, psychotherapy, and holistic strategies to develop individualized treatment plans that address both acute symptoms and long-term recovery goals. She is committed to reducing stigma surrounding mental health and fostering therapeutic alliances through empathic, collaborative care.

Asiah Brown, M.S. (she/her)

Primary Therapist

Asiah Brown is a Primary Therapist at Atlas Behavioral Health. She is currently pursuing her Associate License in Professional Counseling (LAPC) and has obtained certification as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Georgia Gwinnett College and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. During her graduate training, Asiah completed clinical internships in both private practice and residential treatment settings, including a specialized program for eating disorders. These experiences provided her with extensive training in working with individuals and families affected by a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and mood disorders. Asiah is trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and incorporates evidence-based interventions to assist clients in developing effective coping strategies, enhancing emotional regulation, and improving interpersonal functioning. She is committed to delivering person-centered care, emphasizing collaboration with both clients and the interdisciplinary treatment team to provide comprehensive, individualized treatment. Her clinical approach prioritizes creating a safe, supportive therapeutic environment where clients can explore underlying challenges, build resilience, and work toward improved health and well-being.

Gina Kim is a Primary Therapist at Atlas Behavioral Health. She is in the process of obtaining her Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) credential. Gina earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Public Policy from Georgia State University and went on to complete her Master of Social Work at Kennesaw State University. Gina has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, families, and couples across a variety of clinical and community-based settings. Her clinical training and practice emphasize evidence-based modalities, with a particular focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She specializes in supporting individuals navigating substance use disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, stress management, and relational challenges. In her therapeutic work, Gina integrates both structured interventions and creative approaches. She frequently incorporates art-based techniques and elements of play therapy to foster self-expression, emotional regulation, and inner child healing. This integrative style allows her to meet clients where they are while tailoring interventions to their unique developmental, emotional, and cultural needs. Gina approaches therapy with compassion, clinical curiosity, and a commitment to fostering a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients can explore their vulnerabilities and build resilience. She values the therapeutic alliance as a central component of treatment and sees it as a collaborative partnership that empowers clients to move toward growth and recovery. Outside of her clinical role, Gina is dedicated to her family and significant other, and she is actively involved in animal welfare advocacy. Her passion for both human and animal well-being reflects her deeply held belief in the importance of care, connection, and community.

Josh Camadeca serves as the Program Director at Atlas Behavioral Health, where he oversees organizational workflows, supports program development, and ensures high-quality service delivery across clinical and peer-support departments. In this leadership role, Josh applies both his administrative expertise and his extensive recovery knowledge to strengthen team coordination, improve client care systems, and uphold the agency’s mission of providing accessible, person-centered behavioral health services. Josh is a Certified Addiction Recovery Empowerment Specialist (CARES), a Certified Peer Specialist in Addictive Diseases (CPS-AD), a Certified Peer Specialist in Mental Health (CPS-MH), and a nationally Certified Recovery Coach Professional (RCP). He is currently working on obtaining his Certified Addiction Counseling (CAC) certification through the Georgia Addiction Counselors Association (GACA). With over a decade in sustained recovery from substance use and more than 25 years of personal engagement with mental health therapy, he integrates lived experience with evidence-based recovery support to provide comprehensive peer-driven care. In his direct client work, Josh specializes in recovery coaching and mentoring, supporting individuals in developing personalized pathways to health, wellness, and long-term recovery. He is highly skilled in connecting clients and families with appropriate resources, recovery communities, and supportive services that enhance continuity of care and foster positive treatment outcomes. His clinical focus emphasizes recovery-oriented systems of care, the power of social connection, and the vital role of community integration. Josh’s strengths center on his ability to build trust, empathy, and empowerment within the therapeutic relationship. He is deeply committed to promoting resilience and helping clients move toward meaningful, self-directed lives in recovery. Outside of his professional work, Josh values healthy leisure and community engagement; his interests in hiking, biking, fitness, sports, and collecting sneakers and streetwear often serve as additional pathways for rapport-building and connection with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Carson Latimer, CPS-MH, RCP (he/him)

Carson Latimer is the Case Manager at Atlas Behavioral Health. He is a Certified Peer Specialist in Mental Health (CPS-MH) and a Recovery Coach Professional (RCP) certified through the Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery (CCAR). As an Atlas alumnus, Carson has firsthand knowledge of the therapeutic process and the dedication required to successfully engage in and complete Atlas’s comprehensive program. His lived experience informs his clinical perspective, allowing him to connect authentically with clients and support their individualized recovery journeys. Carson is committed to fostering a safe, supportive, and client-centered environment in which individuals can develop autonomy, build resilience, and discover their personal path to recovery. He emphasizes authentic compassion and believes it to be essential in promoting growth, connection, and sustainable healing. Outside of his professional role, Carson continues to nurture his creativity and well-being through music, literature, and gaming. He brings this same spirit of openness, curiosity, and nonjudgmental understanding into both his clinical practice and personal interactions.

Elric Moulton is the Program Manager at Atlas Behavioral Health. He is currently pursuing his Certified Addiction Recovery Empowerment Specialist (CARES) certification. Elric provides comprehensive daily logistical, operational, and administrative oversight to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality recovery services. He plays a central role in maintaining operational efficiency across all recovery initiatives, supporting interdisciplinary teams, managing staff performance and accountability, and ensuring that program operations align with Atlas’s mission, values, and clinical standards. Elric works closely with clinical leadership to uphold a high standard of ethical, client-centered, and trauma-informed care, while also addressing day-to-day program needs with clarity and decisiveness. Grounded in his own lived recovery experience, Elric has intentionally dedicated his professional path to the intersection of personal transformation and professional excellence within the behavioral health field. Having navigated addiction, trauma, and depression firsthand, he brings an authentic, deeply empathetic, and credible voice to the leadership team. His lived experience allows him to connect meaningfully with both clients and staff, fostering trust, hope, and mutual respect while modeling resilience and accountability. Elric’s leadership approach is holistic, strengths-based, and non-judgmental. He draws from a diverse toolkit of recovery modalities and evidence-informed practices, recognizing that recovery is not a one-size-fits-all process. As a strong advocate for multiple pathways to recoveryphilosophy, Elric honors individual choice, autonomy, and cultural responsiveness, understanding that each person’s journey toward healing and stability is unique. With a passionate commitment to creating safe, inclusive, and effective treatment environments, Elric prioritizes emotional safety, structure, and consistency within Atlas Behavioral Health programs. He is deeply invested in cultivating a supportive culture where clients feel empowered to engage in their recovery and staff feel valued, supported, and aligned in purpose. Through thoughtful leadership, operational integrity, and genuine compassion, Elric helps guide individuals as they navigate their own paths toward lasting well-being and sustainable recovery.Since he has been sober, he has seen Widespread Panic 65 times and counting! He uses the joy he has found in recovery to motivate others to find their joy as well!

Sumanah Khan, B.A. (she/her)

Yoga and Meditation Instructor

Sumanah is a dedicated and certified yoga instructor who brings a profound sense of compassion, resilience, and authenticity to her teaching. A person in long-term recovery, she first discovered yoga in 2012, six years after overcoming congestive heart failure in 2006—a life-altering experience that reshaped her perspective on health, healing, and the interconnectedness of body, mind, and spirit. What began as a personal journey to reclaim strength and balance evolved into a transformative practice that would ultimately define her path and purpose. In 2013, Sumanah earned her initial 200-hour yoga teacher certification at Yoga One Charlotte, a respected Baptiste affiliate studio known for its emphasis on empowerment and community. Since then, over the course of more than a decade, she has accumulated thousands of hours in teaching, advanced training, and continuing education. Her extensive experience spans diverse styles of yoga, mindfulness practices, and holistic wellness modalities, giving her the ability to guide students of all levels with adaptability and depth. Through consistent practice and study, Sumanah has cultivated an intuitive understanding of her natural state of being and a deep appreciation for the larger consciousness that connects all life. She approaches every class and interaction as an opportunity to serve—honoring the privilege of sharing yoga as a tool for healing, self-discovery, and transformation. Whether leading a room of seasoned practitioners or gently introducing newcomers to the mat, her teaching is infused with warmth, humility, and an unwavering commitment to helping others access their own inner wisdom. Living in alignment with her values, Sumanah continues to explore new ways to integrate yoga’s teachings into daily life, supporting others not only in their physical practice but also in cultivating presence, acceptance, and spiritual connection.
